Ranya Virk majored in quantitative biology with a minor in computer science. Hailing from the town of Lexington, MA which, for everyone not from the states, is famous for being the start of the American Revolution. Another lesser known fact about her hometown is that it has the highest per capita L.L. Bean consumption in the country. Ranya was involved in an a cappella group and two choirs in high school and has continued expressing her love for music by being a part of Chromatones. Being half Greek and half Indian, Ranya's other interests include beach bumming, dancing her heart out, eating good food (that doesn't include meat as she is a pescatarian, unless it's Greek Easter and lamb is being roasted on a spit), and traveling to exotic places. "What does a nosy pepper do?" "Get jalapeño business."
Ellie Reynolds is a U2 Environment student at McGill who grew up in sunny Los Angeles and can’t remember why she thought she could handle the Great White North. She enjoys singing, watching good television, listening to old school hip hop, reading adventure novels, kayaking, and—most of all—Mexican food. She also hasn’t had a decent taco in months so if anyone knows of any genuinely good Mexican restaurants in Montreal please hmu asap (I never say asap unless it’s an emergency).
Megan Tan, despite what her name says, is NOT tan. She was Chromatones A Cappella's Creative Director for 2016-17, and Co-President in her final semester at McGill. Hailing from the tiny country/city/island Singapore, she likes sharks (there aren't sharks in Singapore), curry (there is a lot of curry in Singapore), apples (there are apples in Singapore) and Second Cup's London Fogs (it's too warm for London Fogs in Singapore). She's mostly lived in Shanghai, and graduated from McGill's Faculty of Education in 2017.
